nature {see it snap it love it}

Sometimes we're all too busy living our lives
to look at the beautiful things around us
and to really see them.
Nature is a beautiful thing which surrounds us.
I all too regularly breeze through it,
past it,
over it,
under it,
and don't take the time to look.

So I loved this theme.
It made me look at some beautiful things which I had been ignoring,
or maybe just not seeing for all that they are.
After much deliberation I went out photographing some flowers,
partly because they are nature in one of its most beautiful states,
but also because I wanted to play with my macro kit.

Last week's theme resulted in some beautiful, natural and unposed photography.
And it was yet again a real tough choice to pick a Photo of the Week,
but in the end I went with this one:

A great candid shot from Cheetah in my Shoes.
I have to admit to being very fond of photos in the long grass,
but I just love how happy he looks and so natural too.
So Jenny can show off the winner's badge of she wants too.

And she has chosen the theme of 'Growing'
as the next photo challenge.

But this week it's all about your 'Nature' photos.
So start posting and linking them up,
grab the badge and/or link back so for readers can find more,
and get around to see some of the others when you get a chance.

  4. Beautiful close up! I have so many close ups of flowers I love that I could not choose one so I guess I tried to take a slight variation on the theme. That was my favourite candid theme shot too...you can't beat such natural, happy, fun!

    1. We do, in fact I think the sunshine flowers are quite liking all the rain, I guess that's the upside to the bad summer if we are looking for one. X
