the 4th of july

I'm not American.
So I have no claim on 4th of July celebrations.
But I have been on some awesome holidays there.
And I do love all things Americana.
We also happen to have a great American diner near where we live
and it's always nice to have an excuse to go and eat yummy American breakfast.
So to celebrate the 4th of July
and just to get together with great friends,
we went out for brunch.
We had pancakes and maple syrup,
bacon and sausage,
and great big Oreo cookie and banana milkshakes.
It was a great way to start our day.
A delicious way to start our day.
And somebody enjoyed a really good boogie
to 'Born In The USA' on the jukebox.
