a budding artist

How gorgeous are those baby fingers?
All podgy and yummy.
I definitely think he's creating some sort of masterpiece.

Who knows where these hands might take him.
He might grow up to be an artist.
He could be a musician.
Or maybe a writer.
Or a photographer.

I hope that whatever he does
that he puts those perfect little hands to good use.
That he uses them gently and thoughtfully.
That he grabs everything life offers him with both of them.

And that he always enjoys playing with chalks
as much as he does now.

    1. Chalk is so fab to play with. When I wiped the chalk off the board he looked at me as if I'd performed magic. So much fun. X

    1. It is a great stage now that he likes to explore and create. So fun to watch him. Although it was tough to get a picture of him on this occasion, he was so excited he wouldn't stay still and lots of them were blurry. X
