kick it

I think that my hubby would quite happily have had me give birth to a toddler when I had the little man.
He has always been a doting and hands on daddy,
but in the last few weeks and months I have watched him blossom as a parent.

help {see it snap it love it}

I'm not sure who was helping who,
but there was definitely a lot of helping going on.
As well as a lot of fun,
and a lot of bonding,
and a whole lot of cuteness.
They helped each other build,
they helped each other destroy,
they even helped each other to clear up the mess afterwards.

made with love

When I found out I was expecting my little Dollop,
in fact before we even decided to have a baby at all,
I knew I wanted to make my baby a patchwork quilt.
I had made a kingsize one as a first-place-together present
when the then-boyfriend and I moved in together.

three

There are three in our family,
in our team.
We are unbeatable threesome built on instincts and knowledge and love.
We understand each other and we get each other.
We love being together
for the big things
and the little things.

the day that review

I first came across 'The Day That...' at The Baby Show last year;
and was really taken with what a simple and beautiful idea it was.
The idea is that two photographers have photographed the dawn of every single day since mid June in 2005.
You can then pick a photo from the dawn of your own special day.
I think they make for a stunning and unique gift.

hidden {see it snap it love it}

Hidden.
In a secluded garden.
Behind a secret gate.
A mop of fair hair comes into view.
A tiny hand appears,
four chubby fingers and a thumb grip the wooden gate;
their owner is still hidden . . .

tinti bath toys review

I discovered the lovely online toy store Toys Naturally only recently,
and as someone who is quite literally obsessed with traditional wooden toys,
I was really impressed with their selection.
So I was thrilled when they said they'd like to send us some bath toys for the beautiful boy
and a little present for Splodge too.

1

his bestest day

It's always lovely to go out for the day
on a real family adventure.
And we did just that at the London Sealife Aquarium.
And I'd even say that it was the beautiful boy's best day . . . EVER!!!
I've never seen him so excited, so animated
and with such big wide eyes.

Eighteen months old and the most awesome kid ever.

2

best friends {see it snap it love it}

The best of friends.
I have to say that watching the father-son bond
is one of the biggest and most unexpected pleasures of being a parent.
Their eyes light up for one another
and it makes me extremely proud to see them together.
