your nineteenth week

It was Daddy's turn for a special day of his own.

His very first Father's Day.
With his very own little boy.

To my lovely boy

I’m not as creative or emotional as Mummy when it comes to writing letters so here we go!

From the moment you came into the world everything changed,
most notably the bank balance,
but I wouldn’t change a thing

I’ll admit, I didn’t really know what to do with you the first few weeks;
as you fed, slept for 4 hours and repeated this for quite a while,
so I felt useless.

But then came the first smile
which meant you acknowledged my presence
which was pretty cool.

The bit I look forward to each day is changing your nappy when you wake up,
as we get Daddy & Son time together.
Then Mummy feeds you,
then we have a kip until I can be bothered to go to work.

Don’t really know what else to say other than
I can’t even remember life without you now.

And I’m really looking forward to having a kick about at the park
all dressed up in our Liverpool Kits!

Love Daddy x

P.S – You’re worth losing Sky Sports over! You’ll understand in a few years ;-)
