mothers

Happy Mummy's Day to my wonderful Mum.

She is my best friend,
my greatest critic,
the person I most want to make proud
and the person I am proudest of.

I would not be half the person I am without her.
And I know I wouldn't even be a quarter of the mother I am
without her unending help, her unswerving support,
and without the great example she has set.

If my children love me half as much as I love her
than I'll be doing an okay job.

Love you lots Mum.

  2. Ahh that is so lovely and I only hope that Iyla can say the same about me when she is older. Unfortunately I don't feel that way about my mum but at least she has taught me lots about what not to do! xx

    1. I guess we all learn from our mums, one way or another. And I'm sure Iyla and you will remain great friends. x
