i heart my snap

I rediscovered this picture over the weekend and have fallen in love with it.
It was taken in Cuba on our honeymoon
at possibly the most beautiful beach I have ever been to.
It makes me smile to think how wonderful our whole trip was
and how lucky we were that our lovely wedding guests contributed to it
so that we could have a little piece of paradise as newlyweds.

This weekend I finally set about the task of editing, designing and putting together a photo book of our honeymoon.
Considering that we went on our honeymoon in August of 2009,
I've sort of taken my time about it.
But I set myself a deadline of doing it this weekend and when I do that I am one determined lady.

It was lovely to look through all our old honeymoon snaps,
marvelling at how much slimmer/younger/more attractive/tanned we looked.
And as the weather was so terrible outside,
it was quite nice to have a little bit of Cuban sunshine lighting up our weekend.

So that's my I Heart My Snap contribution this week,
one from the archives,
but lovely none the less.

    1. I think photos are so great for taking you right back to a different time, and all the nostalgia and memories that brings. I made my husband a book of our relationship as a Valentine's present a few years back which we still like to look back through. x
