splodge and me at fourteen weeks

Splodge's Size:
Splodge is around about the size of an orange.
Which didn't seem that big to me
until I looked at one in the supermarket.
I think I was thinking of a clementine.

Splodge's Development:
Apparently my little baby is bounding around in there now
and making the most of still having some space.
And Splodge may have even started to grow some hair now too.

My Size:
My waist is currently 31 and a half inches.
I had been feeling a little bit bigger
but that's a whopping 2 and a half inch increase in two weeks.
At that rate I'll be enormous by September.

My Pregnancy Development:
As I'm leaving my first trimester and entering the second,
I've definitely regained my missing energy which is great.
And while I am still suffering from some nausea
it's few and far between now.

My Body:
My bladder is telling me that I can't be far off that 'belly pop' moment.
I definitely feel (and am) bigger around the middle
which I had been putting down to water retention,
but the lower part of my stomach is definitely feeling firmer now,
like there is definitely something behind there.

My Appetite:
Where the nausea has passed some of my crazy food fads have passed too.
I'm definitely wanting savoury stuff more than sweet,
but then that is pretty normal for me anyway.
I'm really struggling to make myself drink enough
(*runs off to get a glass of water*)
and I'd welcome any tips on how to make sure I'm getting enough fluids.

It's definitely been a highlight to leave the yucky first trimester behind
and start the second one where I get to glow and feel fab.

So that's where I'm at at fourteen weeks.
