...and then there were four

On Friday our little family gained a new person;
another team member,
another part of the gang.
And she is a little pink bundle,
so she has evened things up around here.

She came into the world all pink and new
at 6:05am on September 21st,
weighing 7lb 14oz.

Daddy is totally in love with her
and keeps saying he feels so happy and so lucky he could cry.
I think he's already dreaming of the day he gets to walk her down the aisle.

I can't believe that I have me a little girly.
And that I get to have that mummy-daughter bond with a daughter of my own.

And as for the beautiful boy;
he has taken the whole thing in his stride just like we knew he would.
He likes to stroke 'baby' on the head
and blow her kisses.
And he makes a point of coming over to her whenever he leaves the room
to say "Bye. See you soon."

Looking at both of our beautiful children fills me with a pride
that I just could not imagine possible.
They are both so precious and unique.
So cherished and completely loved.
And ours.
Wow . . .

 We have a beautiful boy and a beautiful girl
and life feels pretty good.

    1. It's amazing being a four. So lovely to have two children and know they are both ours.
      And I'm working on new blog things, but may take a little while to get them all set up, what with all the staring adoringly at our babies and snuggling our newborn. :) x

  4. A beautiful post and a beautiful family, congratulations! I've found that the absolute best part of being a parent is seeing the love between my two. The affection and care E showed for his baby brother and as he got older the way T's face would light up when he saw his big brother coming has always melted my heart. I'm sure your two will be just the same. x
