tears {see it snap it love it}

My beautiful boy doesn't cry very often.
He produces actual tears even less often.
And when he does, it's generally pretty serious,
and is something which only mummy cuddles will cure.

So I have to confess that this week's photo is not my handiwork
but is that of my lovely husband instead.
The little man had bumped his head
and only mummy would do.

He took quite a few photos actually,
and all of them completely pull at my heart strings.
In all honesty this one is really probably the tamest
as he looks plain terrified and or devastated in the others
and I can't bring myself to look at them without feeling like I'm going to cry,
let alone actually editing and posting one of them.
I blame the hormones!
. . .  Or it could just be that being a mummy has made me soft.

I loved all the different 'Help' pictures last week
especially as there were lots of cute pictures of children helping each other
which were just plain adorable.
I chose this as my Photo of the Week

from Vikki at Love From Mummy.
I just thought it was a gorgeous snap
and I loved the colours.
And gorgeous snaps are the whole point of See It Snap It Love It.
Here is the winners badge if Vikki wants to show off.

And she has picked the next challenge
which is 'Vintage'.
Which I for one am looking forward to,
as am currently clueless so it'll be a proper challenge this week.

But this week is all about 'Tears'
and I'm hoping it won't make cry looking through them.
Link up your 'Tears' posts,
don't forget to include the badge and link back,
and go round the others and share some comment love when you can.

  1. Awww poor little man, it's horrible when they hurt themselves. Last night Mads fell over and grazed all her knee so it was bleeding. She cried and then got over it but I couldn't look at her little knee without getting upset for her- even though she was fine! It really tugged at my heart strings. X

    1. I can't help thinking that you never get to a point where you can 'get used' to them getting hurt. I think its something to do with having made that perfect little body of theirs. I just hate it when he gets hurt. x

DBB still looks gorgeous even when sad though x

I too loved Love from Mummy's photo last week - can't wait for 'Vintage' next week!

    1. It's actually a great theme, because it wouldn't cross my mind to snap a photo of him crying but it will be a good photo to have and look back at. x

  3. Awww poor little chap, hope his bump to the head wasn't too serious? It's horrible to see them upset but strangely captivating at the same time as they're so beautiful and vulnerable in that moment. Gorgeous photo and thanks for choosing us as last week's winner! xxx

  5. Aw, poor baby! I'm sure Mommy made it all better though :o) What an emotional shot and I love that you decided to convert it to black & white! I wish I could have linked up this week but don't have a picture to fit the theme. I'll try back next week :o)

    1. Cuddles did make it all better thankfully. I think shots like this often look best in black and white, they seem more simple but also more dramatic. x
