"Before having a baby, I wish I had known..."

that it really isn't as hard looking after a baby 
as some people would like you to believe;

that sacrifices don't feel like sacrifices 
when they are for your child;

that when people say to rest before the baby arrives, 
they mean it;

and that I would never be quite the same as before ever again, 
but I wouldn't care a bit.
