in a world of our own

Holidays are all about adventures
and time spent with your favourites.
They are a moment in time that is happy
but then gone.

Which is why I love these pictures,
because it captures a fleeting moment.
The summer.
The sand.
The reflection in the water.
An empty beach.
A tired, wet boy.
A young family.

I have my lovely dad to thank for both these pictures
and I love them.

    1. I agree. You can't beat pictures of people when they don't know they're being photographed. Which is probably why I love these so much. X

    1. Hehe. Maybe! This weekend I took a picture of my dad taking pictures, unbeknownst to me he had just taken a similar one of me. So clearly we are a bit similar, especially when it comes to camera obsessions. X

    1. One of the first things I thought when I saw them, is how nice it is that we have natural photos of the three of us as it will be such a fleeting time in the scheme of things. So nice to have it captured forever before we become a family of four and we both end up with full arms at the beach! X

    1. When the little guy turned one I realised we have very few of us as a three and I've been obsessed ever since about getting people to take our picture. But I think I love these ones most because we didn't know they were being taken, so they are so natural. X
