love {see it snap it love it}

Love is such a wonderful and beautiful thing.
A powerful thing
that you can't always see
but which you feel
and which overtakes everything else.

I love my beautiful little boy like nothing else on earth.
I love his daddy.
I love his unborn brother or sister.
But capturing that in one picture isn't easy.
I'm not sure that ten or twenty photographs could quite do the theme justice.

But I got this one,
of the absolute love of my life.
And how fantastically placed is that ornament?
Would you believe me if I told you that I didn't actually spot the 'love'
until after I'd taken the picture?

I just want to quickly say how much I'm enjoying looking at all your pictures each week,
and how glad I am that some of you have decided to join me on this little photo challenge.
I started it selfishly.
As a way of getting myself to take slightly different pictures each week
and to hopefully get a little better at using my camera.
I love that so many of you are getting your cameras out too
and finding ways to make the themes your own.
Thank-you so much for taking part and giving me a heap of inspiration every week.

Last week's theme of 'Water'
I think
resulted in some of the best pictures yet.
The pictures were gorgeous
and I had a tough time choosing again,
but this one won it:

by Vikki from Love From Mummy.
So she gets a swanky badge if she wants to show off.

And she has chosen the brilliant theme of 'Reflection' for next week
which already has my brain ticking over with ideas.

Don't forget to grab the badge for your 'Love' posts,
tweet your link to @dear_beautiful_ so I can retweet you,
and try to get round and comment on each others photos when you can.

  3. I can't wait to post my love photo, I had so much fun taking them, but will have to wait until Terrible Twosday has finished. x

    1. Yep it's there. Linky Tools were having some tedhnical issues last Tuesday which I knew about, perhaps they've had issues again, but as long as the thumbnail is snowing up for you then it'll be there for everyone to see. X

  7. How out of it have I been that I hadn't seen this linky!!!! I love it and I'm off to find some love!

  8. Gorgeous photo and perfect with the ornament too! I'm really enjoying your linky too - what with this and #snaphappybritmums - there's loads of photos being taken and edited!
