soundtrack of life: song four

The music that you listen to and surround yourself with is the soundtrack to your life.

But right now, Little Man, you are just too little to really know about it.
Other than that you like listening to it.
And that you like Mummy singing to it.
Which probably means that your musical tastes still need to be developed a bit.

Each week Mummy and Daddy are choosing a song which has some significance to you.

Supermassive Black Hole by Muse

Muse at Wembley Stadium was the first concert that you ever went to.

You were in Mummy's tummy at the time,
but it still counts.

We knew from the books about pregnancy that we had been reading,
that you were just starting to hear things.
So it definitely counts.

Supermassive Black Hole is one of Mummy's favourites,
which meant that she was jumping and dancing around like a nutter when they played it.

And you were kicking like a nutter,
so you must have been dancing around too.
You were obviously a fan.
Good boy!

  2. Thank-you. I'm not sure how many songs I'll manage before I run out of ideas but I figured that if I can can get to a CDs worth of songs then I can burn a CD for him to listen to when he's older. x

  3. Brilliant! I think I've said it before but this is one of the best ideas I've seen since I started blogging. We went to see The Rolling Stones when my wife was pregnant with O. We also used to play her The Beatles and The Monkees a lot when she was in my wife's tummy too. I like to think it had an effect as she loves music so much now.
