mini model

A couple of weeks back our beautiful girl got invited along to be part of a photoshoot for Fred & Noah. She's not ever done anything like that before, but... she is a girl who is used to a camera and doesn't freak out at the sight of one right in her face, so I figured we had nothing to lose.

In honesty, you never really know how these things could go. I wasn't sure if she might be a bit quiet without her brother around to "bounce off", and I was taking her to meet a group of total strangers and then expecting her to happily play along for the camera. Ultimately she is a two year old, and as any one who has ever had a two year old will tell you; they are unpredictable little characters, This could have been a recipe for disaster.

But the reality was that she made me so so so incredibly proud of her. She was a total pro. She listened to instructions, she loved being in the spotlight, she showed off some of the moves she's learned in BabyBallet as poses, and most importantly of all, she had an absolute blast.

Fred & Noah is the baby and business of Natalie, who makes the gorgeous bright and colourful leggings you see in all the photos. The designs are fun and exciting, and our little miss has been picking them out of her drawer to wear ever since, which I think means that they must be pretty comfy too.

We weren't asked to share these photos or to talk about the brand, but these photos (all courtesy of O'Hanley) are just too cute not to share. And I also love to promote small businesses, and as Natalie makes such fantastic things its a total pleasure to share Fred & Noah with you all. We were given all the clothes that she wore in the shoot as a thank-you for coming along, but that doesn't affect what we think of them; they are fun, bright, soft and wash fantastically. We think they're fab!

So I give you... my beautiful girl... the mini model.

You can find Fred and Noah on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Etsy and Not On The High Street and you may just see this familiar little face advertising for them.
