{the ordinary moments} milkshake date

Milkshakes are one my simple pleasures.
I love a good milkshake.
So on what could have been a normal Saturday
we took our favourite little people
to go and have Mummy's favourite milkshake.

The truth is that it wasn't an ordinary Saturday.
It was my baby girl's birthday.
And that is anything but ordinary.
But getting to test your first milkshake
is a special everyday kind of moment to be savoured never the less;
especially when being the birthday girl
means that instead of drinking a little sip
you drink nearly half of Mummy's Oreo Banana Thickshake,
and she lets you
because she knows that you only get to turn one once.

  7. Wow, I am a big milkshake fan although there is nowhere good to get them round here. I nearly got one for MacDonald's the other day but after reading the ingredients and discovering they had 63g of sugar and nearly 400 calories I decided against it!! x
