the siblings project {january 2018}

It's January, and the start of another year of monthly sibling photos of this little crew. This little crew who will grow in so many ways this year; in age, in height, and in number.

I absolutely love taking and sharing these photos every single month; documenting the bond between these three and how their relationships grow and change. And it's always exciting to be starting a new year, a new collection of photos lies ahead, and I can't wait to see where it takes us. But there is something ridiculously exciting about knowing that this line up is due a big change later in the year. It makes these photos - and the ones over the next few months - all the more precious, as they record the last days of a three that will become four.

As we start this new year, these three continue to amaze me with how close and in tune they are with one another. The girls play together more and more with each passing day; Everly is such a mini mummy and she loves to include Quinn in everything she does, in turn Quinn simply adores her big sister. They are both crazy and cheeky and loud; and becoming more alike all the time.

Although there are definitely times when Quinn prefers the quieter and calmer company of her big brother. Dylan's relationship with Quinn is that of protector and teacher and chief cheerleader; I swear that no one in life will ever have her back like he does. In fact the same goes for Everly; one thing is for sure, all the children are lucky to have Dylan leading up their pack.

Dylan and Everly remain my "twinnies, but not twins"; they love each other fiercely, and also drive each other scatty, but they are close as close can be. One of the things that excites me most about adding a fourth to our brood, is hopefully giving Quinn that. Because as much as she has her own relationships with them both, I think she'll love having her own little partner in crime.

I can't wait to see your lovely siblings moments shared, so please do add your links below. And if you are sharing your photos on Instagram too then, please make sure you're following me and use #siblingsproject as I will be sharing some of my favourites.

  4. I can't believe how much Quinny is catching up with the older two girl they are all so grown up here. I know when we have these babies our older ones will seem like teenagers in comparison. It really goes so fast. Looking forward to watching your siblings snaps grow to four... and sharing my own growing family this year with this project.

  13. Gorgeous photos of your little trio and I especially love the first shot of them all sitting on the tree stump. I am sure Quinn will love having a little sibling who will be a little closer to her in age and it will be interesting to see the changes that this year will bring as you become a family of six. Thanks for hosting #siblingsproject
