I was impossibly organised about getting our photos for The Me and Mine Project this month. I had a plan to maybe try and take them on our beach hut day on June 4th, and we had such an amazing day with such beautiful weather that it was a breeze taking them; we were all just so chilled out and happy that day, and I feel like it shows in the photos too which I love. Sunshine and smiles and lovely family time is what that day was all about, and it was definitely a big highlight of June for us all. And it's a good thing that I'd ticked that off of the 'to do list' early on because this month has been crazy with lots of stuff going on for all of us, both together and separately. Honestly June has been a mad one! But then it feels like I've been saying that every month lately.

I have to say that looking through our family photos this month makes me all warm and fuzzy. They may well be new favourites of mine. The beach is always such a happy place for us anyway, and the weather had been so incredibly kind to us that day, but yet the beach had remained deserted. We all look a little sun kissed and windswept; as you should after a beach day. Mainly I just look at them and I see the memories that we made, in a place that we love, with just each other for company. And I see the five of us and think; we made that, I'm so proud that little tribe is mine.

Make sure you pop by my cohosts' posts this month and see what all their families have been up to. Alex, Jenny, Fritha, Katie and Lucy will all have a new family photo to share with you all. And be sure to use #meandmineproject if you are joining in on Instagram. I can't wait to see all your family photos linked up below, so what are you waiting for...?

  5. I am with you on the beach. We love the beach. My eldest always asks to go to the beach at the weekend. He has a passion for it. Yet we never managed to take a family photo at the beach. Maybe for July.

    1. Haha, we are the same; a day off generally means us sticking our pin in a map somewhere along the coast line! And it sounds like you definitely need to get a beach photo soon. x

    1. We are so loving being a five, it feels so natural, and like we should have always been five. And that little moment between Rich and Everly is adorable isn't it? I wasn't massively keen on the light in that photo, but I couldn't leave it out simply because it was so lovely of them. x

    1. The light is definitely something I love about the seaside, and how big the sky is! And it's so hard catching up with everyone at BritMums isn't it? There were so many people I missed that I would have liked to say hi to. x
