Rich is loving
* Ashlyn's new teeth.
* the uni footy reunion.
* the return of Gomorrah on the television.
* riding the rollercoasters at Lost Kingdom.
* seeing the kids faces when they met Peppa and George.

Lucy is loving
* a fun family adventure at Paulton's Park.
* running down grassy hills in Heybridge with Dylan and Everly.
* watching Ashlyn get more and more mobile, and looking so proud about it.
* getting to crochet some of the happy place blanket in the place that inspired it.
* speaking at Blog On conference and not completely making a fool of herself.

Dylan is loving
* being on purple level reading books.
* riding rollercoasters in the Lost Kingdom at Paultons Park.
* getting gold star at school twice in one week.
* a fun day out with both sets of grandparents.
* talking to Ashlyn at meal times and making her laugh.

Everly is loving
* a day at Peppa Pig World.
* anything to do with My Little Pony.
* falling over on the floor with Ashlyn.
* her new palm tree dress (she'd wear it every day if we let her!)
* watching the DVD of the dance show over and over again.

Ashlyn is loving
* smiling a lot and just generally being happy all the time.
* eating toast.
* crawling backwards.
* playing with her skwish.
* Darcy and Wentworth.

Last month I was talking about how incredibly busy life had been for us, and May hasn't been any quieter than April was. More work trips for Rich, more deadlines for me, lots of things going on at school for the big two, and a baby who seems to be growing up super fast before our eyes. Life is just busy, busy busy.

But we have managed to cram in plenty of lovely family time this month, so I'm not complaining at all. And we seem to have a load of different family portraits to show for it too. In fact it wasn't until I sat down to pick photos for this post that I realised just how many family portraits we have managed to cram in this month, including one that I totally forgot about until Rich showed me his list of five favourite things this month and I realised we had a photo for his fifth point too... (just note in the first of the photos below how Rich is holding Peppa's hand, and poor Everly is having to go without - I think he was more excited about meeting Peppa himself than he'd like to let on!)

We are now looking forward to an entire half term off together. It will be some much needed time to all reconnect, have adventures but also just chill out too. As much as I love that Dylan and Everly love school and preschool as much as they do, I do miss them not being here so much of the week, so I always relish their time off. And it's an extra bonus to have Rich off work too. We've been counting down to this week together as a five for ages and we can't wait.

So I'll leave it there; with our big collection of family memories from this month.

And June... we just want more of the same please. Family, adventures, sunshine and smiles!

Make sure you pop by my cohosts' posts this month and see what all their families have been up to. Alex, Jenny, FrithaKatie and Lucy will all have a new family photo to share with you all. And be sure to use #meandmineproject if you are joining in on Instagram. I can't wait to see all your family photos linked up below, so what are you waiting for...?

    1. Rich was clearly living the dream getting to meet Peppa!!! Hahaha.
      And thats so funny that you liked Everly too. We get so many comments on her name. And it suits her so well. After you pointed out that stats website to me, I found out only three people were called Everly the year she was born... it really put the pressure on to find something unusual and lovely for our little Ashlyn Quinn. x

  16. Life is just busy isn't it? I feel the same April was go go and May hasn't stopped. June calendar is absolutely out of this world before we head to america I can't believe it. Lucy I say it every month but you capture the best family photos ever every time. That last group hug is my all time fave though. Family that snuggles together is golden!!! Loving these and I agree Ashlyn is growing up way way too fast on us all too. How much does the bigger two have going on when they get to school wow I am like taxi mom at the minute between school stuff, events, deadlines, and sports for them both. Don't know which way I am coming or going sometimes. lol Happy sunny water front captures love the locations. I am trying to get ideas for June think I may have it just need hubbs up for the task. lol :) Thanks for hosting and making so many families around the world capture their loved ones together each month. Such a great motivation and amazing to look back on. Miss you darling.

    1. Life is crazy busy, isn't it? I always think life is busier in summer, because we always want to cram more in, whereas in winter we are happier to hibernate a bit. And thanks as always for your kind words, I do love our photos this month, so many smiles and happy memories. x
