I say it every single month I'm sure, but the past month just flew by. How is it November tomorrow? I know lots of people will disagree with me, but November feels like the start of the Christmas countdown for me. And the Christmas countdown means that it's nearly the end of the year. And seriously... didn't 2017 just start?!?!?!

It's been a crazy sort of month for us. With birthdays for Rich and Quinn, an absolutely crazy busy few weeks in the middle with visitors and a hundred different things going on, and then the loveliest, quietest, family half term off together.

Long time readers of this blog will know that I am a total sucker for a beach photo. The beach is always our favourite place to be as a family. And I simply love these out of season seaside snaps. We got there in the late afternoon, had the place practically to ourselves (apart from the occasional dog walker or man with a metal detector) and the October sunshine came along to play too. Did you spot the little rainbow in that first photo? I only spotted it when I uploaded, but how perfect is that, to match the kiddos in their rainbow jackets?

I can't wait to see what you all have to share this month, and make sure you pop by my cohosts (Alex, Charlotte, Fritha, Jenny, Katie and Lucy) to see what they've been up to this month too.

  1. Rainbows for a perfect afternoon at the beach - how wonderful! I love your beach pictures, largely because I don't get to take nearly so many of them of my tribe as I'd like and there's something so magical about being back by the sea - it makes you feel you can breathe and have all the room in the world to stretch out and run around!

Can't quite believe that Quinn is two - it doesn't seem very long ago since your first Me and Mine photo with the five of you! Glad that she had a lovely birthday.
