the siblings project {march}

It feels like I probably say this with each passing month, but it feels like this trio have really started finding their groove. I guess that over the coming months and years it will be a constant process of them settling into their roles with one another, constantly changing and adapting, pushing the boundaries and altering the rules. But I think that's possibly the best thing about getting to see these three grow up together, and about watching siblings together in general. It isn't a concrete thing, its fluid and changing all the time.

These photos are far from perfect, but I actually think might be some of my favourites (I think I may have said that last month too - apologies for turning into a total stuck record). Our littlest lady often looks entirely bemused by our little photoshoots for both The Siblings Project and for The Me and Mine Project, but in this month's I think she totally steals the show. She just so loves this big pair and the way that they constantly move and shout and sing and tickle and dance and play. And because she's just so incredibly laid back she just kind of accepts all the madness of life with them and generally gives them a giggle for their attempts to amuse her, even if it's often accompanied by a subtle sideways glance at us that says "What are they doing now?"

I love that in these photos it feels like I've finally captured a little of that. Mostly I just feel like I caught a hint of their camaraderie. I caught a little of the joy that they get from simply being with one another. The very beginnings of them being a little gang. And it's that that I love the most about watching my little set of siblings together. And its what I love best about this project too; that I notice and document those subtle changes in their relationships month on month, but mostly that I get to see my little gang together.

Do pop by my cohosts Katie, Carie, Annie, Keri-Anne and Amber too to see what they've been up too. And link up your posts in the linky at the bottom, I can't wait to see all your photos.

And don't forget that The Siblings Project is also on Instagram, so do go over to @siblings_project_ and give us a follow. Add #siblingsproject to your photos and then we'll be sharing some of our favourites. And it can be any sibling photos, not just the ones you link up for The Siblings Project blog post. We already have quite a gorgeous collection of sibling moments on show.
