best friends {see it snap it love it}

The best of friends.
I have to say that watching the father-son bond
is one of the biggest and most unexpected pleasures of being a parent.
Their eyes light up for one another
and it makes me extremely proud to see them together.

Considering I chose the 'Best Friends' theme
I had been pondering and head scratching ever since I chose it.
I was tempted to get a nice picture of my fluffy babies,
because those two boys love each other lots and it's pretty adorable.
I also thought about attempting a family portrait with the tripod and remote
and I was going to bravely try and get all of us (fluffy and non-fluffy) into one photo.

But then this unfolded before my eyes . . .

. . . Daddy was chilling on the sofa
and the beautiful boy climbed up to join him,
leaning in to rest his head on his daddy's.
These little moments are the ones that I treasure when I witness them.
They were watching the television and just 'being'.

There were some gorgeous 'Sunshine' pictures linked up last week
which was no great surprise as we had such lovely sunny weather.
But I don't need to pick a winner from the bunch
as the next photo challenge has been chosen by Louise at A Strong Coffee
after she won the 'Morning' theme a couple of weeks ago.

She has chosen the theme of 'Hidden' to really challenge you all.
Can't wait to see what you all do with that one
as I'm already wondering what I'm going to do.

But this week is all about 'Best Friends'
so get posting and linking up
so we can all see your lovely photographs.
Make sure you grab the badge and link back here
and go round and visit the others when you can.

And yes, he is definitely looking more and more like me and my side of the family as he gets bigger. Quite amazing to think about really as he was such a spit of his daddy when he was tiny. X
